The land I am hunting has 2 pretty darn rural home sites on it, and both have the same issue as seen above in the 'PRETEXT' section. I know that this issue is not totally preventable, BUT I’m sure there must be some way to help reduce the issue and 'see through' to targets underneath the iron. My primary issue that leads to my question is that I am constantly having flat iron, and I mean small thin piece of flat iron on the surface (iron that is no bigger than a nickel in diameter and as thin as a piece of card stock ring up like an 80-83, or slightly larger pieces of flat iron ring up like n 86 or higher. I have used a Whites IDX Pro metal detector exclusively for nearly 16 years and I loved it, but this past May 2016 I purchased a Fisher F19 and I love it! I will set a good example of how people should enjoy the lawful hobby of recreational metal detecting. I will use common courtesy and common sense at all times. I will report discovery of any items that have significant historical value to the proper authorities.

I will remove all trash found and dispose of it properly. I will recover targets in a way that will not damage or kill vegetation and I will fill in holes completely leaving the area looking as it was. I will respect private property and attain the owners permission before metal detecting.
